In 1918 legendary fame couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga opened his first Parisian couture house. Cristóbal died in 1972, but his legacy and firmly established design codes live on in the house as we know and love it today. Since 2015 the creative director is Demna Gvasalia, who combines couture and experimentation. Every season the Maison continues with the reinterpretation of everyday clothes in an unholy and underground key.
