Fear Of God
Jerry Lorenzo created Fear of God to fill a void he observed in mens fashion. He began designing with inspiration from Rick Owens and Raf Simons in mind. And through trial, his first finished pieces landed in the hands of Kanye West, a critical influence who after seeing the collection hired Lorenzo to design his tour merchandise, and thus leading to his breakthrough debut. Coming from a devout family, he named his label Fear of God to reflect his spiritual upbringing. The line’s first capsule collection debuted in 2013 and immediately obtained viral status with endorsements from the the hip-hop community at large.
